Come and meet Elmo! Just as a warning, this one is white and not red.
The Elmo is a document camera that allows you to project documents in real time without having to make a transparency. It connects directly to your computer with one USB cable and is as simple as 1-2-3.
Applications ideas…
Project student work to edit with the entire class as soon as the writing is done.
Put a text book under the elmo instead of distributing the text books to each student.
Read a novel aloud together.
Have a student come forward and project the math problem he just worked on at his desk by placing his workbook right under the elmo.
Learning lunch begins this week in each building.
Enfield: Thursday from 11:15-1:15 in the tech lab
Erdenheim: Friday from 11:15-1:45 in the art room (20)
Bring your lunches in and take a look at the elmo. Ask questions from teachers who have already used it and swap ideas for other creative uses. Hope to see you then!
